About Drug and Alcohol Training Service (DATS)
DATS is a not-for-profit organisation which, in support of the Home Office National Workplace Initiative, has established a Employer's Assistance Scheme to provide businesses with a comprehensive bespoke support package to successfully tackle drug and alcohol issues in the workplace.
We are the Uk's leading provider of a Drug and Alcohol Policy for the workplace and have developed a range of benefits and professional services to address the needs of all businesses, regardless of size and industry sector. Although based in the South West, DATS offer their services nationwide. DATS income received from business, after covering costs, are reinvested into the provison of treatment, education and information services.
Current clients include organisations ranging from 6 employees to over 100,000, all of whom have gained significant benefits from the range of services available.
We have strong links with and are endorsed by the TUC and CBI who both recognise the importance of implementing a supportive Workplace Drug and Alcohol Policy. We are also full members of GWE Business West, Business for Breakfast, NRG, 4 Networking and Brian is also a member of the Institute of Directors. Andy is also a member of Business Network International (BNI).
Our History
DATS was established in 1999 and restructured during 2008 as The Drug and Alcohol Training Service Ltd (DATS), although still operates under the original name.
